Wendell Gardner, DDS
Dr. Gardner is a native of Dallas, Texas. He graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology from Xavier University in New Orleans, LA.
Dr. Gardner received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with honors from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He continued his graduate studies at Metro Nashville General Hospital and the Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, were he completed the General Practice Residency Program.
After receiving his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Gardner was appointed to a full-time faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Metro Nashville General Hospital. He then relocated to the Maryland area where he and his partner Started Potomac Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He is Board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and Fellow of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the Mid Atlantic Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Maryland Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, National Dental Association, Maryland Dental Association, and the Patuxent Dental Society.
Dr. Gardner is one of the Washingtonian’s Top Dentists in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia.
His hobbies include art, music, and traveling. He enjoys spending time with his fiancée Monica and their children Justin, Jason, Kendall, and Wesley.
